What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Warrior PATHH

The Posttraumatic Growth training program we will deliver on the retreat is known as Warrior PATHH (Progressive and Alternative Training for Helping Heroes). Warrior PATHH is a highly successful program (with proven results of reducing PTSD symptoms by 51%) that was developed by Boulder Crest Foundation (Bluemont, VA) – the leaders in the field of posttraumatic growth – which was founded by Ken Falke in 2013, a 21-year combat veteran of the U.S. Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) community and retired Master Chief Petty Officer.

Warrior PATHH is a free 7-day combat stress recovery retreat for warriors (with separate programs for male and female combat veterans).

Eagle Oak Retreat will be offering family retreats in the Summer of 2024 to families of Combat Veterans and First Responders.

Nearly 3 million troops deployed to the prolonged wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. It is estimated that nearly 1,000,000 of these combat veterans are battling combat-related stress. Due to lengthy deployments, visible and invisible injuries impact every member of the family. Our mission is to start with the Warrior PATHH program and then extend this program to include couples and families. We will be offering Family Rest and Reconnection Stays at the Eagle Oak Retreat in the Summer of 2024.

These Family R & R Stays will make a lasting and positive impact on those who served and sacrificed for our country.
