Mission

We are changing lives by proactively and reactively focusing on Mental Health and Education because we understand that every individual will incur challenges in this life. We are dedicated in our approach; providing services that will bring Mental Health awareness to those impacted in the homeless and less fortunate communities. We advocate and render resources for those that need another opportunity to integrate themselves back into society. Our focus is to nurture the body but also strengthen the mind.

Notes from the nonprofit

27Strong is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in our community through a dual approach. Reactively, we respond swiftly to immediate needs by providing support and resources during times of crisis or adversity. Proactively, we design and implement long-term programs that address systemic issues and create sustainable positive change. Our commitment is to empower individuals and uplift the community through an approach that combines immediate relief with strategic initiatives for a brighter future.

An effort to provide the outside community with an opportunity to know our homeless friends better and understand who they really are as a person. This also allows the public to assist specific individuals via Pen Pal Registry. Additionally, a lot of our displaced friends need assistance transitioning from the shelter. Vouchers may obtain a residence, but unfortunately these places are completely unfurnished and completely empty. This program will allow people all across the globe to assist with transitional living. We understand that very often in life it's not what you know; but who you know.

"Travel with Grace" is not just about sightseeing; it's a journey of self-discovery and empowerment. By exposing our youth to the rich tapestry of global cultures, we aim to equip them with the tools needed to thrive in an interconnected world. Whether it's discovering the nuances of local art, tasting exotic cuisines, or engaging in community-driven projects, this program encourages personal growth and a profound understanding of the world around them. When it comes to Mental Health Awareness, we recognize the unparalleled impact of various art forms in shaping young minds, fostering creativity, and instilling a deep appreciation for diversity. Through this program, we aim to harness the transformative potential of art to ignite curiosity, spark creativity, and cultivate open-mindedness. Our annual objective is to have between 10 and 15 high school students registered, ensuring that a significant number of young minds are exposed to the enriching power of cultural exploration.
