Animal Care

NDFS provides sanctuary to senior, disabled and hospice animals through foster homes and a three-acre micro-sanctuary in Albemarle, North Carolina. Our residents include dogs, cats, ducks, chickens, turkeys, goats, alpacas and donkeys. As part of our animal care program, we provide good nutrition, essential veterinary care and specialty services (farrier, shearing, etc) to ensure our animals' good health and wellbeing.
