Notes from the nonprofit

We incorporated the nonprofit on 12/01/2021, and on 02/24/2022 after filing the short form application with the IRS received our initial exemption as a 501 (c)(3) entity. Shortly after that we applied with the California Attorney General to register as a non-profit with the state so we may solicit donations on 03/23/2022, that was approved on 06/23/2022. We have also applied for California Franchise tax board as a non-profit in the state, but are still awaiting there determination. At the time of this statement 08/07/2022 no public donation have been made or solicited other than those issued by my wife and I to pay for bank fees , website development , and local state and federal fees associated with the incorporation of the non-profit. Any donation should be consulted with your tax professional for deductibility. Large donations should also be discussed with your attorney and financial planner as we do not offer legal advice.
