Mission

Causeway Charitable Foundation aims to democratize access to thoughtful philanthropy through inclusive grant-making and tech-powered giving. We aim to efficiently allocate small and micro-donations – lowering the barrier to entry of the donation space. We hope to improve access to nonprofits addressing looming societal issues by allowing everyone to become micro-donors to causes they care about.

Climate Change Fund

Causeway's Climate Change fund is focused on the most promising nonprofits actively combatting the effects of climate change that will maximize the potential of your donation.

These nonprofits have shown that even with smaller donations, they are making substantial progress. Unlike some larger nonprofits, which receive hundreds of millions in funding from governments and large philanthropies, these nonprofits are in need of smaller donations to close their funding gaps.

To select these nonprofits, we consulted experts in the space, relied on research from evaluative bodies like Giving Green, grant-making organizations like Founders Pledge, and journalism from Vox’s Future Perfect. These groups have conducted in-depth research to identify the most effective giving opportunities in the US by focusing on “organizations that are directly working to change US federal policy, through legislation, executive action, and regulation."
