Funds were raised via donations to support specific service members and their families who suffered significant losses personally while serving in the armed forces. Funds were donated specifically for these veterans and were provided directly to the families.

Funds were raised for Beyond the Yellow Ribbon's support of the Lakeville Heritage Center. The Heritage Center is a facility in which Beyond the Yellow Ribbon will share with two other organizations. Beyond the Yellow Ribbons roll will be to utilize the center as a central place to provide various services to veterans and their families. The center is scheduled to open later in 2012 and there will be a range of veteran services from job assistance to family support.
