Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Improving the health of women and their families by ensuring they have access to the health services they need.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Breast, Cervical and Colon Health Program: Helping women and their families with access to life saving preventative medicine with the Breast, Cervical and Colon Health program; regardless of their ability to pay.
Basic Food Program: We connect people to the Washington Basic Food Education Program by providing eligible recipients applications and information on food assistance programs in all of Island, San Juan, Skagit, Snohomish, Whatcom and Pierce Counties.
Women's Wellness Center: This program fills the need for a membership based, women-only facility with scholarships available, making it accessible to all women.
The Bra Shop: A Bra Shop at a non-profit agency. Citrine Health added The Bra Shop in 2014 to provide hard to fit sizes and post mastectomy products. Citrine Health created the shop because there was no place north of Seattle that provided post-mastectomy products for women on Medicaid.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Breast, Cervical and Colon Health Program: In partnership with the Washington Breast, Cervical and Colon Health Program, we connect women and men to free or low-cost preventative healthcare services. Underinsured and uninsured women can receive yearly health exams that include pap tests and mammograms and men & women can receive colon screenings throughout Island, San Juan, Skagit, Snohomish, Pierce and Whatcom Counties.
Basic Food: We connect people to the Washington Basic Food Education Program by providing eligible recipients applications and information on food assistance programs in all of Island, San Juan, Skagit, Snohomish, Whatcom and Pierce Counties.
Women's Wellness Center: The Women’s Wellness Center has services available such as fitness classes, massage, Reiki, Reflexology and Bowen therapies. And with a doctor’s referral, women on disability can access these services as well.
The Bra Shop: The Bra Shop has a wide range of sizes, assorted styles and even post mastectomy products. The Bra Shop works with many insurance companies including Medicare and Medicaid. Walk-in free fittings are always available for traditional bras. Please call and schedule an appointment for post mastectomy fittings.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
While we have made great strides to this point the need vastly outstrips our current abilities, Future operations will focus on advocacy and promotion of our programs as well as capacity building to keep up with the additional client load.
