Mission

Nile Sisters Development Initiative helps refugee women and their families in San Diego County overcome barriers and become socially and economically self-reliant through education, training, and support. NSDI, is a regional Southern California community-based organization headquartered in San Diego County, with satellite programs in Orange County and a second office in Los Angeles County. Since 2001, the nonprofit, has provided culturally/linguistically proficient services to thousands from impoverished and marginalized populations in health education/disease prevention, employment, child development, mental wellness, smoking cessation, and domestic violence.

LearnMore Vocational Training for Displaced Populations

LearnMore is a private, nonprofit career-training school that specializes in quality, accelerated courses to equip participants with skills for employment in high-demand sectors. We meet the needs of hard-to-reach and underrepresented populations by offering enhanced instruction and hands-on training to develop new skills or advance previously obtained skills.

Situated in beautiful San Diego County, California, the school administrative office / academic campus is easily accessible by major freeways and public transportation routes via the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System.
