Pollinating Social Healing, One Life at a Time

Mission

The Pollinators Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit that promotes mental health resilience and social healing. We create compassionate communities of care and belonging through the power of arts, nature and restorative mind-body practices. Through a holistic community-based approach we bring together people from all walks of life to cultivate and sustain health, joy and resiliency connecting to creativity, nature, body wisdom, and to each other. Together, we co-create compassionate support ecosystems that foster deep care, community connection and wellbeing. We are committed to serving neurodiverse people, their families and caregivers, and those who otherwise might not have access to or cannot afford these services.

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Expressive Arts Healing Circles & Mental Health Community Arts

The program brings people together in a safe space working with the power of imagination and creativity through art-making, storytelling, poetry and expressive writing, and mindful movement to access deep inner wisdom, process lived experiences, cultivate joy and positive emotions, and offer care to themselves and each other. By working in community, participants develop trust, co-create a community of care and belonging, and access new generative ways of coping with life changes and challenges that sustain hope and resilience.

At the end of the program, participants collaborate on organizing an art exhibition and community event that showcase their art and tell their stories. The event enriches the experience of all participants by promoting meaningful connections and a deeper, more personal understanding of our collective wounding, and the ways we can work together toward social wellness and healing.
