Mission

NoVA Prism Center isa private library and community center serving the Northern Virginia LGBTQIA+ community through providing access to educational and community resources highlighting LGBT+ lives, bodies, and history, with an emphasis on providing vital access to teens, young adults, and multiply marginalized communities in the region. We seek to break down the disparity between the large local LGBTQIA+ population and the lack of local resources, with an emphasis on equity, community, and compassion.

Library Pop-Ups

NoVA Prism Center brings a temporary library pop-up event to locations in Northern Virginia to bring the library collection to the people who need it most. Library pop-ups include a selection of books, kids' story circles, access to a gender affirming closet, a sensory-friendly self care zone, and more.
