Abduction Prevention Education

Abuduction Prevention Education Program has three components: Shout Out Loud, radKID’s, and NetSmartz Internet Safety. Shout Out Loud focuses on children from Kindergarten through 2nd Grade. A puppet named “Tobie the Bear” is used to deliver the program and teach young children the rules of safety and how to avoid abduction. NetSmartz is presented to students from Kindergarten through 12th Grade, and also has a component for parents and the community to promote awareness. This program teaches children and parents how to be safe when using the internet and how to report unwanted sexual solicitations in chat rooms, monitor online activity, etc. radKID’s is presented to students in Kindergarten through 6th Grade. It is a 10-hour personal empowerment program which incorporates real life situations and teaches children how to escape abductions, prevent bullying and child abuse, and much more.
