Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
T.L.C. Adoptions, Inc. hosts ADOPTION EVENTS every weekend: Fridays, 6-8:00 3855 Sepulveda Blvd. (corner of Hawthorne Blvd.), Torrance, California. We have no permanent shelter. Animals for adoption are housed during the week at volunteers' and rescuers' homes. T.L.C. seeks loving volunteers to BOTTLEFEED newborns brought to us, TAME those 5-7 week old kittens found on the streets and FOSTER the poor abandoned teens and adults left starving. All pets available for adoption have been spayed/neutered, tested for FeLV and FIV, are vaccinated, flea-free, and litter-box trained. Cats and kittens stay with us until they are placed. At no time do we ever euthanize a healthy animal. Our FERAL CAT OUTREACH PROGRAM is hosted by volunteers experienced in trapping procedures for spay/neuter and stabilization of the feral cat colonies. We lend safety traps and educate the rescuer on safely catching ferals and taming kittens still young enough to be socialized and later placed as pets.
