PACS

PACS provides mental health services to individuals with significant emotional and behavioral issues and challenges. It is known for its expertise working with Asian and Pacific Islander communities especially immigrants and refugees. Staff usually have linguistic capacity in many API languages such as Khmer, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Taiwanese and Samoan as well as several staff who are bilingual in Spanish. One of its best known programs is the Integrated Network for Cambodians (INC) which provides integrated behavioral and physical health services to Cambodians including spiritual healing traditions.

Our services and programs include: Mental health counseling, case management including linkages and referrals, outreach, education and engagement about mental health, parenting classes, CalWORKs, Home Visitation programs and intensive services under the Full Services Partnership (FSP) program for those who were recently incarcerated and/or homeless. The agency believes that clients can recover and integrate back with their families and communities as well as become employed in meaningful work.

PACS has offices in the West Los Angeles-Westchester area, San Fernando Valley, and Long Beach and nearby South Bay cities. Many services are provided in the field, depending on the needs of the client from homes to homeless shelters. Staff also work on-site at schools.
