THIS ALLOWS PATIENTS TO RECEIVE THESE SERVICES IN THE COMFORT AND SECURITY OF THEIR HOME WITHOUT THE ECONOMIC AND FINANCIAL BURDEN ASSOCIATED WITH IN-HOSPITAL CARE. 134 MEDICARE MEDICAL EPISODES WERE COMPLETED FOR A TOTAL OF 1,770 IN HOME MEDICARE NURSING AND THERAPY VISITS. THE AGENCY ALSO PROVIDED 27,255 VISITS TO 3,281 PATIENTS IN HMO'S, MANAGED CARE PROGRAMS, AN
