DWD Global Ambassador Program

Our global ambassadors are volunteers who carry out the mission of Divas With Disabilities through events, initiatives, and programs within their region. Each initiative focuses on one of the core values of Divas With Disabilities

Diva Monthly Conference Calls - DWD brings the Diva ( Black and brown women with physical disability) community together
with Diva Conference Calls (DCC). Using the Zoom technology, DWD hosts
monthly DCC, where guest speakers are invited to talk about topical issues that
provoke discussion and engage in conversation around the lived experiences of
Divas. Among the many thoughtful topics including, but not limited to Living at
the Intersection of Black, Female and Disabled; Defining Your Beauty;
Advocating for Human Rights, and Disability and Hollywood. Moreover,
DCC have also included topics addressing Choosing Acting as a Career,
Accessing Medical Care as a Woman of Color with a Disability, and Writing
for Social Change.
