Dedicated raising awareness about endometriosis, advocating for patients and providing a community of hope and support to those living with the chronic disease and their loved ones.
Programs and results
What we aim to solve
1 in 10 or over 176 million people with periods are estimated to have endometriosis around the world. This chronic disease takes on average 9 years to diagnose and is linked to several autoimmune diseases. The Minnesota Endo Warriors seek to create a community of fighters in the state of Minnesota that is inclusive, supportive and works to advocate for the greater care of patients.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Worldwide Endo March - Minnesota
The Minnesota Endo March is the local Minnesota extension of the Worldwide Endometriosis March hosted and produced by the Minnesota Endo Warriors. March is endometriosis awareness month and on the last Saturday groups around the world gather to raise awareness and advocate for women with endometriosis.
In-Person Endometriosis Support Groups
The MN Endo Warriors have launched monthly in-person support groups. These groups serve as a place for those at any stage of diagnosis with endometriosis to get to know each other and discuss ways that they can support one another through their individual Endo journeys.
Endometriosis Surgical Care Packages
As part of our initiative to support local Minnesota endometriosis patients or “endo warriors” our goal has been to provide a personal interaction between endo patients and warriors who know what they’re facing. A connection with a fellow warrior that has been where they’re headed and knows what recovery entails. We see the the Surgical Care Packages as a personal connection and an opportunity for those of us who “have been there” to reach out and support those facing surgery. However, we can not do this alone. In order to reach and support the greatest number of warriors we rely on our clinical partners, like Oakdale ObGyn, to help furnish and distribute these care packages. Together we can provide the support system that so many warriors maybe lacking and a personal connection beyond the medicine.
Online Endometriosis Support Groups
The MN Endo Warriors have launched monthly online support groups. These groups serve as a place for those at any stage of diagnosis with endometriosis to get to know each other and discuss ways that they can support one another through their individual Endo journeys. Because this program is available online we welcome warriors from anywhere to join us although the conversations often discuss local resources.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
We are looking to create support groups both in persona and virtually across the state. Provide care packages to patients undergoing surgery. Help educate the community through programs like the Endo March.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Support groups, partnering with the local endo specialists, partnering with local leadership for awareness and recognition, events in the community and online support.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We have 3 board officers and 7 total board members who are all volunteers and endo warriors themselves. They are dedicated to furthering our mission and supporting patients across the state.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We hosted the 2nd Annual MN Endo March in 2018 and over 100 marchers came to proudly raise awareness. We've raised over $10,000 in just the first 4 months of our orgs inception and are using the funds to support our community.
