Guided by our core values of Literacy, Opportunity, and Community, Preface works alongside and within communities inn 11 states (and growing!) across America to train and empower high school student "Ambassadors" to uplift the next generation through small group reading sessions. Using educational best practices and innovative virtual methods, Preface creates positive relationships and mentorships, fostering Equality Through Education and early childhood literacy - often with a multilingual twist!

Preface trains, equips, and empowers monolingual and bilingual high school volunteers (Preface Ambassadors) to work directly with young children (primarily K-3) to encourage English language acclimation and foster early childhood literacy using multilingual methods and educational best-practices.
