Mission
The Meadow Lake Nolte Dam Association (MLNDA) was born in response to a crisis. The crisis was the hydro-lake dam failure at Lake Dunlap, the deteriorating condition of the spill gates on our own Nolte Dam and the response from the Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority (GBRA) on these issues. MLNDA intends to work with the GBRA, the City of Seguin, Guadalupe and Comal Counties, and the State of Texas to explore all viable options to preserve and maintain Meadow Lake. We must not allow our state’s infrastructure to crumble. All city and county leaders are vital to ensuring that the State of Texas live up to the responsibility of preserving these lakes for future generations.

Protect & Preserve Meadow Lake
MLNDA was formed to re-evaluate all of the gate replacement options previously researched by the GBRA; to align with the other Lake Associations on a replacement solution; to assist in the evaluation of the economic impact of losing our lakes; to investigate and decide on funding sources; and to establish the strategy for the management and maintenance of the newly constructed dams to prevent similar issues in the future.
