Mission
Our mission is to keep our community and natural habitats free of garbage and other harmful land pollutants with a focus on single use plastics. Single-use plastics such as grocery bags, food packaging, bottles, straws, containers, cups and utensils are extremely damaging to the unique fragile ecosystem of Miami Beach and its marine wildlife. Our goal is to provide a clean place for our residents and visitors, and a safe environment where our beautiful wildlife can thrive. We achieve this by: -Mobilizing the community for weekly beach and wetlands clean ups -Working with and advising local businesses to promote sustainable business practices -Educating and spreading awareness about the negative impact of single-use plastics on our ecology
