THE EVENTS OF THE ANNUAL FESTIVAL INCLUDE PUBLIC APPEARANCES BY THE QUEEN PAGEANT CONTESTANTS AT VARIOUS SHOPPING CENTERS AROUND THE STATE, A FASHION SHOW, A GOLF TOURNAMENT AND THE FESTIVAL BALL.

THE PURPOSE OF THE TRIP IS TO PROMOTE GOODWILL WITH THE JAPAN BASED SPONSORS OF THE FESTIVAL AND TO RENEW AND MAINTAIN A RELATIONSHIP WITH MEMBERS OF THE SISTER CHAPTER IN JAPAN.
