Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Program 1
Providing members with monthly newsletters, lectures, informal events and establishing a website. Including training opportunities and travel to the neighbor islands for inservices.
Program 2
Teaching ukulele classes to Title I Hawaii Public Schools. Twenty-seven classes were held and 731 students were served. Also Warriors in Transitions classes were taught at Schofield Barracks, impacting impacting the lives of 76 students recovering form traumatic military experiences.
Program 3
Every year the Guild holds a festival. This year a festival entitled "The Hawaiian Ukulele Experience" was held at the Bishop Museum in November 2018, with over 2,100 attendees.
