The Beacon Farmers' Market serves to support regional farms and food access initiatives by convening a weekly market-place on Main Street in Beacon. The market takes SNAP, FMNP, and WIC, and offers its own Greens4Greens program, which helps families on federal food aid double their spending on fresh fruits and vegetables at the Beacon Farmers’ Market and mobile markets. In addition, we operate an end of market donation program to ensure that locally sourced, nutrient-dense food is given to people who need it.

Common Ground Farm grows vegetables and herbs from May - October using organic practices and donates over 50% of the produce grown to local schools and emergency food centers.

The Newburgh Farmers' Market serves to support regional farms and food access initiatives by convening a weekly marketplace on the corners of Liberty and Broadway in Newburgh. The market takes SNAP, FMNP, and WIC, and offers its own Greens4Greens program, which helps families on federal food aid double their spending on fresh fruits and vegetables at the Newburgh Farmers’ Market and mobile markets. In addition, we operate an end of market donation program to ensure that locally sourced, nutrient-dense food is given to people who need it.

Common Ground operates on-site education programs that support people from ages two to adult. Preschool on the Farm is Common Ground's longest running program, helping children and their caregivers engage in farm and nature-based topics.

Common Ground also runs Farm Camp, a seven-week day camp, that engages children ages 4-12 in outdoor and farm-based activities, including art, outdoors skills, farming, and cooking.

Common Ground offers a half day program for homeschoolers that supports farming, cooking, and art.

Common Ground offers adult programming in partnership with Textile Lab, that supports sustainability in clothing.

Common Ground offers scholarship opportunities for all tuition-based programs, ensuring that all of our programs are accessible to our community.

Common Ground administers a backpack program that provides weekly groceries for economically disadvantaged students in the Beacon City School District, supplying local produce in the backpacks whenever possible.
