Animal Advocates of Moore County, Inc. is committed to all aspects of animal welfare including spay/neuter, animal cruelty, and animal rescue, accompanied by community education and diligence toward humane legislation. We promote compassion and protection for all animals.

We have 700 members to date who contribute to us on a regular basis, we receive grants from the DJ& T Foundation and Mrs. Joyce Braddock Greene is one of our benefactors.

Population(s) Served

AAMC traps neuters and returns cat to previous colonies. Cats that CANNOT be returned to a caretaker or homeowner must  be taken to our Feral Cat Station to live out their lives This program costs AAMC $7000.00 a year not including the cost of the two buildings
