Mission

The mission of AIM is to: Provide extraordinary educational opportunities to children with language-based learning disabilities such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia, utilizing research-based intervention strategies and an arts-based learning environment that is college preparatory in scope and sequence. Develop a center for educational excellence and professional development to disseminate best practices to educators by providing access to the latest research-based curriculum, technology, and training.

AIM Academy

A college-prep, independent school for children in grades 1-12 with language-based learning differences such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia. Our rigorous, academic elementary, middle and high school programs, taught by experienced and creative faculty, incorporate evidence-based interventions in an arts-based learning environment that is college preparatory in scope and sequence.

The AIM Institute for Learning & Research provides professional development and teacher training opportunities to educators and schools to improve literacy for all children. AIM invests in technology and strategic partnering with global literacy researchers to bring the sophisticated teacher training provided within AIM to teachers globally using the AIM Pathways digital professional learning platform. AIM’s partnership in the Haskins Global Literacy Hub promises to accelerate the rate of moving research into practice at AIM and in partner schools throughout the region and beyond.
