Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Our organizational vision is to maximize the positive impact that our facilities, staff and programs have on the youth population of the greater Manchester, NH community. We want to help every Club member achieve their full potential in life.

We will accomplish this vision by providing a highly trained and motivated program staff, the resources they need to offer programs and activities of the highest quality, impacting the character and leadership development of youth.
We will provide facilities and equipment of the highest quality and function in an environment of safety and cleanliness.
We will continually develop a dedicated and well trained Board of Directors and administrative staff capable of advancing the organization mission and goals of the Boys & Girls Club of Manchester.

Over the course of our 117-year history, our organization has developed a refined system of oversight in areas of effective programs, board development, strategic planning, financial accountability, resource development, marketing and communications, facilities management, and sustainability.

We currently have 48 collaborative partnerships with other agencies in the community. We provide daily youth development programs and services to the largest cohort of youth in the city, averaging nearly 600 per day. We have maximized the number of youth we can serve based on square footage of our facilities.
We have not yet expanded our capacity to serve more youth. We have not yet reached our vision of an endowment that provides half of our annual operating costs. We have not yet reached our goal of establishing a Club member to staff ratio of 30:1.
