Sierra Foothill Mapping Project
The Mapping Project examines current mapping data for the 500-3000 feet elevation focusing on large land parcel protected areas, projected housing density, watersheds and blue oak woodlands, vegetation, and known rare plant habitat. This project will also provide statistical data on special status plants and animals in the foothill region in addition to data on climate change issues.
LTA Scholarship Program
Regranting program that enables member organization staff to attend the annual Land Trust Alliance conference--a four day series of seminars and workshops addressing all facets of land conservation and staff/board development.
Smith Family Foundation Grant
Grant allocated for general operations and program work including outreach to potential land conservation partners, training scholarships for members and strategic planning.
