Mission

We, the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, as women of the church inspired by Mother M. Angeline Teresa, respond with faith, courage and love to the healing ministry of Christ. Our philosophy is stated in her words: Our mission is reflected in the philosophy of care inherent in all policies and practices promulgated within the health care facilities under our supervision, thereby charging administration, boards of directors and medical staff with promoting the Christian mission of healing and care. On a local level, each Home has a Mission Effectiveness Coordinator. Each coordinator assists in implementing the Mission Statement and the philosophy of the Congregation throughout that particular Carmelite facility and working with other Coordinators to reinforce our mission through

Long term care

Living life to its fullest is a dream that everyone deserves. At St. Patrick’s Manor those dreams can become reality. The Carmelite Sisters sponsor St. Patrick's Manor. Their mission is the care and comfort of the aged and infirm. The mission is also shared by the staff, physicians and other professional caregivers at the Manor, which provides the best possible experience for our residents.

A natural part of advancing age is the increased need for medical care. Skilled nursing care round-the-clock helps residents avoid hospitalizations. The Nursing Units are equipped with up-to-date medical and monitoring devices, and our staff is trained in the latest care techniques. Our restorative programs are designed to stimulate and maintain peak mental and physical function.
It has been observed that there is always something going on at St. Patrick’s Manor. Residents are encouraged to participate in programs, activities, and social life to the extent they are able. Whether it is gathering in the Pub, Coffee Shop, or Craft Area where art and cooking are favorite activities, the possibilities are many. The Main Dining Room is more than just a place to dine; it is a place where resident's gather to socialize and share events of their day.

An integral part of the life at St. Patrick’s Manor is the attention to our resident’s spiritual needs. Mass is celebrated daily, and ecumenical services are regularly scheduled for those of other denominations.

Population(s) Served

Whether you or your loved one is recovering from surgery, injury, or a serious illness, The Rosarie Center, A Transitional Care Unit (TCU) at St. Patrick’s Manor, understands the challenge of choosing the best quality care setting. Patients who have been stabilized in an acute care hospital are excellent candidates for post-acute care at the TCU, where they receive the continued medical and therapeutic management needed for maximum recovery. These individuals have the potential to improve quickly, be discharged home, and with services if indicated.

At The Rosarie Center you will find the comforts of home and the freedom of an independent lifestyle. Our 27-bed TCU offers a state-of-the-art rehabilitation gym and amenities including all private rooms and bathrooms, flat panel televisions, and Wi-Fi connectivity at no charge.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

As a Skilled Nursing Facility, we offer multiple levels of care including Skilled Nursing, Short Term Rehabilitation, Palliative, Hospice, Respite and Memory Care. We care for the fragile, much compromised, most precious population of the elderly. It is our goal to provide the best quality of care and service in a manner that meets the physical, social, spiritual, psychological, and emotional needs of the resident from the time of their admission throughout their stay with us. We believe that our model of care creates an environment that is safe, secure, person-centered, and rich in culture for those who live here.

To accomplish our established goals we follow the guidance of our four core values. These values lived out every day at the Manor, giving us our identity.
Shared Commitment: Our belief is that quality of care is attained by a team spirit that has a shared sense of achievement, accountability, ideas, insights and the commitment to the wise stewardship of resources.
Sanctity of Life: Our belief is that all life is sacred and we advocate especially on behalf of the elderly.
Hospitality: Our belief is that each home should provide a welcoming, person-centered environment and atmosphere of a "Home". Personal warmth, love and care will reflect and give value and purpose to the residents' lives.
Compassion: Our belief is that each person is created in the image of God as an object of His personal love, and as such we are to bring hope, healing and comfort to all we encounter in our ministry.

We strive for excellence in performance and adherence to the highest ethical, professional, and regulatory standards. Through this philosophy we have proven to be a very well respected, successful, sustainable organization in our community and in the field of Skilled Nursing.
St. Patrick’s Manor Compliance Program fosters and promotes ethical business practice to operate under the highest ethical and moral standards, complying with applicable legal requirements, maintaining values of honesty, integrity and impartiality in order to assure the residents' and the public's trust in St. Patrick’s Manor. Preservation of St. Patrick’s Manor reputation requires observance of the code of conduct by all employed by or responsible for St. Patrick’s Manor. Principles of the Code of Conduct provides guidance for decisions and actions, they do not substitute for common sense, individual judgment or personal integrity.

St. Patrick’s Manor was first established in 1953 where it operated on Commonwealth Street in Boston. In time, we later recognized a growing need for long term care in the Metrowest area. In 1969, St Patrick’s Manor finished its construction and opened its doors as a brand new facility where it stands today in Framingham Massachusetts. With over 300 beds, St. Patrick’s Manor is the largest nursing home in Massachusetts. In later years, St Patrick’s Manor has updated the facility to include a short term rehabilitation center and a secure memory care center. St Patrick’s Manor leadership team and Board of Directors continue to evaluate the needs of our community and adapt. Today, we are in the process of renovating our Guardian Angel Unit to now include 9 private rooms for those in need of Hospice care.
The history of St Patrick’s Manor is important because it reminds the community how long we have been in operation and how we continue to adapt as our elders needs change.
