We have more than 40 years of experience serving children, adults and families with Behavioral Health Challenges, Developmental Disabilities, Autism, Brain Injury, Homelessness and other complex challenges to live beyond and see beyond their perceived limitations.

Employment Services

At Open Sky Community Services, we believe that meaningful employment, a real job, is an important part of a successful life. We also believe that everyone, including people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities, should strive towards employment that matches their skills, job readiness and, most importantly, their preferences.

Open Sky Community Services offers a variety of residential options for adults with developmental disabilities, mental health challenges or brain injury across Central Massachusetts. Our goal is to provide a real home, one that is safe, nurturing, and addresses each individual's personal needs and preferences. Residential options offered include community residences, shared living, and supported living.

Adult Family Care (AFC) is a program that provides both financial support and practical assistance to families who are caring for a qualifying family member at home. A family member qualifies if they are over the age of 16, either disabled or elderly, meet eligibility requirements and need assistance with one or more of the tasks of daily living such as bathing, eating, or dressing. Adult Family Care is also available to help support qualifying individuals placed in homes with caregivers who are not relatives.

Open Sky Community Services (day habilitation programs) provide a variety of opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities to develop the skills and supports they need to improve their lives.
