-Women, Infants & Children's Program: WIC vouchers issued, nutrition counseling -Family Planning and Adolescent and Health Services. AIDS/HIV -Education Community Education, Community Resources. Parent Teen, Comprehensive Family Planning Services -Prevention Services: Teen Parenting, Young Parents, Prevention Center, Home Health Visitors to Pregnant and Parenting Teens, Teen Counseling Youth Support -Womans Place Crisis Center: Counseling Rape & Incest Survivors, Counseling Battered Women. Shelter Bed Days to Women & Children

Population(s) Served

Our HIP programs provide a range of health care services for low-income or vulnerable families and individuals. Our nine Family Planning clinics offer high-quality, confidential personal and reproductive health care, prevention, and education services for men, women, and teens. This includes contraceptive and pregnancy testing, sexually transmitted infection testing, cancer screening, and more. Our nine clinics are located in Attleboro, Brockton, Hyannis, Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, New Bedford, Plymouth, Wareham, and Weymouth.

Our clinics also house our Brockton Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program, which educates adolescents on their sexual and reproductive health and encourages them to practice safe sex, and our Plymouth AIDS Supports Services, which provides support, education information, and referrals to incarcerated and newly released people who are living with HIV/AIDS.

This department also includes our Family Support services, which provide home visiting and case management support to young parents, infants, and toddlers, and our WIC programs for parents and children, including counseling, education, and food vouchers to support healthy families and children.

Population(s) Served

Health Imperatives also offers a comprehensive and coordinated spectrum of domestic violence and sexual assault services. VIP provides crisis intervention counseling, legal and court advocacy, emergency shelter, and education and outreach activities for survivors of violence.

VIP is also home to our LGBTQ Support programs, which provide services for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth, adults, and their families.
