Mission

Gallery X promotes a mission of cultural outreach through art exhibitions, accessible educational programming, and community partnerships to stimulate artistic awareness in New Bedford and the surrounding communities. We seek to act as an incubator for emerging artists as well as a venue for established ones by creating a platform where artists, performers, and creatives of all ages, skill levels, and backgrounds, have a safe, professional space to showcase their talents as a community.

Open Community Exhibitions

Gallery X is a public venue with an ambitious rotation of monthly exhibits curated by gallery members, free to the public. Literary and performing artists can organize and schedule performances in the facility. Gallery X hosts exhibits or events by other organizations that benefit the community.
