Mission

Massachusetts Women in Public Higher Education, Inc. (MWPHE, Inc.) is a non-profit organization open to all women who are employed in public higher education in Massachusetts. The organization establishes an information and support network, enhances professional development, encourages and promotes upward mobility, and addresses issues affecting Massachusetts public higher education and the status of women within the system.

Providing scholarships, annual conferences that provided valuable information on topics requested by its membership

We rely on all of the state, university and community college in MA who are all members of MWPHE. We communicate via email, website and internal and external postings.

We have accomplished providing scholarships to each branch of the MA college/university system, a phenomenal women award and professional development award.

We aim to increase the amount of and volume of the scholarships available.
