Protecting open space in Wellesley
Programs and results
What we aim to solve
Open natural spaces in Wellesley are disappearing. Much of the remaining open spaces are not protected and can be sold to development. Massachusetts 40B affordable housing regulations allow developers to bypass much of local town zoning and bylaws. With many residents concerned about global climate change, they are looking for more information and actions they can take locally.
