Food pantry

TEEG’s Food Security program empowers families and individuals to stretch their monthly budget by giving them healthy food to supplement their home pantries. Additionally, we offer nutrition and health education information with every distribution, enabling us to feed both the bodies and the minds of those accessing our services. TEEG offers three pantry choices - Thompson, Pomfret and Woodstock mobile.

TEEG provides support to individuals and families experiencing homelessness. The severity of homelessness ranges from those who have simply moved more than twice in 60 days to those living on the streets. We offer clothing, emergency food, supplies, meals, counseling, and showers.

TEEG offers many programs to Seniors including heat assistance, food security, healthcare benefits education, access to healthcare, homeowner advice and counseling.

TEEG is the Youth Service Bureau for the towns of Thompson, Pomfret, Woodstock and Putnam. We offer a number of services including: Therapeutic Mentoring, Juvenile Review Board, Attendance Mentoring, youth activities, and All-Star Adventure Program.

TEEG also offers early childhood services including: Parent/child playgroup, Diaper Bank, and Hand-in-Hand mentoring for parents with children ages birth to pre-school.
