HEBREW BURIAL & FREE LOAN ASSOCIATION OF NEW HAVEN INC

Woodbridge, CT   |  www.hbfla.org

Mission

A gap in the community is filled with the ability we have to perform the mitzvah of having a place for those of Jewish belief to have a burial in a proper Jewish cemetery. Predominately our cemetery is reserved for those that do not have the means to; or for other reasons would not be able to be buried in other Jewish cemeteries. By providing a plot and often times a proper marker.
We also offer interest-free loans to assist those that may not have the means through ordinary sources. Some of the types of loans we have provided include loans to pay medical bills, pay off credit cards, emergency loans, and a variety of other types.
