What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

Nine Modern Barriers to Gospel Proclamation 1. Scores of countries- closed to missionaries and hostile to Christians. 2. The high cost of missions. 3. Indigenous and expat Christian workers face restrictions, threats, violence, persecution. 4. Radical Islam and Nationalistic Hinduism. 5. Threat of the Surveillance State in nations ruled by autocrats. 6. TV and radio ministry not able to connect with audiences to measure response, especially for a generation that is modern. 7. Vast portions of the world where the church simply does not exist: a remoteness that challenges the funding capability of national and expat mission agencies to overcome. 8. Competing with global media promoting anti-God, anti-Christ ideologies. 9. A cultural cynicism cultivated over generations since the 18th century enlightenment has hardened hearts toward the authority of biblical revelation and the trustworthiness of the gospels of Jesus.

Our programs

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Internet Outreach & Evangelization

JesusOnline Ministries uses state-of-the-art Internet technologies, including Google AdWords, to pose questions about Jesus to people around the world on thousands of websites, such as CNN.com. These questions include:

Was Jesus a real person?
Is Jesus God?
Are the Gospels true?
Did Jesus rise from the dead?
Was Jesus the Messiah?
Is Jesus relevant today?

Those readers whose interest is piqued follow the link to a corresponding article on one of our websites.  These free articles present strong evidence about the person of Jesus Christ and for the reliability of the New Testament. Each article takes the reader on a thought-provoking journey, which leads to a comprehensive presentation of the gospel.  Visitors are encouraged to submit comments and questions for personal follow uyet easy to understand, gospel message for those cultures that have little foundational context for comprehending shorter presentations.

Population(s) Served
Adults

JesusOnline Ministries equips the church globally (individuals, missionaries, and pastors) by providing free, downloadable discipleship materials, online Bibles, and other Christ-centered resources. Thousands of these resources have been provided to seekers, believers, and Christian leaders.  One such resource is our bi-weekly Y-Jesus newsletter, to which more than 48,000 people from all over the world have subscribed.

The gratitude for these resources from international missionaries and pastors has been overwhelming, as many of them live in countries where Christian literature is difficult to obtain.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Utilizing the internet and mobile technology to provide a viable way to overcome many (not all) of these obstacles. We live in a post- modern era dominated by cynicism, materialism, scientific rationalism, spiritual mysticism and despair.
We are able to to pioneer new digital methods of missions at this hour in history. To create a personal opportunity to share the message of Christ with people in the unguarded moments of their private lives at a cost of only 5 cents per person. We provide a way to carry out the Gospel mandate 24 hours a day in more than 200 countries in the most dominate Internet languages.

Our sequence represents a tried, tested and proven digital strategy to lead a person to Jesus through a well-choreographed response chain.
Our outreach starts by placing curiosity provoking direct-response or “trigger-ads” in a myriad of electronic Internet outlets worldwide.
Through these advertisements, designed for computer and mobile devices, the truth of Jesus is brought screen-ready before the eyes of millions of people every day, making an opportunity for a Gospel encounter. . .just a “click” away.
When a person responds, they are taken to one of the featured articles or videos highlighted on this homepage: https://y-jesus.com/
For example--the "Did Jesus Rise From the Dead?” page offers a video and also a 10-page transcript of the video content: https://y-jesus.com/wwrj/6-jesus-rise-dead/
Over 90% of our international audience chooses the transcript over the video.
When they read and click through all 10 pages of this video transcript article, they arrive at the end of the gospel presentation here:
https://y-jesus.com/wwrj/6-jesus-rise-dead/10/
At that point they are asked to provide a comment about their personal response to the article they read. At this time they also request a free book:
“The Adventure of Living with Jesus.”
When they submit their comment, they arrive at this “Thank You” page that asks them whether they prayed the prayer at the end of the article?
https://y-jesus.com/hear-from-you/sent/
Each of the four options they select take them to a page customized for their response, where they are encouraged to download the Free JO App to discover the resources God has for them.
For example, if a person clicks the radio button — “Yes, I prayed the prayer and invited Jesus into my life” — they will come to this page:
https://y-jesus.com/xp/yes-received-christ//
You can review the web version of the discipleship app at: https://app.jesusonline.com/home
It can be downloaded at: Y-Jesus.com/app or JesusOnline.com/app.
JOM’s Visitor Response Chain
Currently the average engagement time per users of the app is 27 minutes. About 7% of the people who download the app are still consistent users after five weeks. 73 thousand apps have been downloaded since the beginning of April of this year.
The free book they receive in a PDF form through their email can be viewed at:
https://y-jesus.com/wp-content/uploads/Adventure-of-Living-w-Jesus 161216.pdf
It is also one of eight free books in the JO App Books section at: https://app.jesusonline.com/books
Everyone who downloads the app is automatically subscribed to our 365 day series called “Become More in Christ 365 Series” here: https://app.jesusonline.com/series/156
In addition to this, our discipleship pastor and his team of volunteers respond to emails and app messages daily to help guide people in their walk with the Lord.
