What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

Veterans and military service personnel and their families often experience an increase in living expenses brought on by disability or injury related to their service on behalf of our country. Short-term financial assistance is needed to tide the family over until a job is secured or a disablity check is received.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

SALUTE, INC. offers several programs that address the challenges faced by service members, veterans, and their families. SALUTE strives to raise awareness of their sacrifices and provide a safety net to ensure every military family is treated with honor and dignity.

SALUTE, INC. has dedicated client advocates that work one-on-one with each veteran family to assess their needs and see how SALUTE can help them through their financial obstacles. All payments on behalf of a veteran are made directly to creditors. All families are offered free financial counseling and job resource assistance to help them remain self-sufficient after the financial crisis is addressed.

SALUTE, INC has a dedicated staff of client advocates who have already assisted over 4000 individual clients . All of our veterans' information is verified with a DD214 and discussion with a VA representative. A coordinated team effort provides comprehensive case management which ensures timely payment of bills and the coordination of additional resources as needed.

The need for SALUTE, INC.'s services has been proven; as the population of veterans grows, so too does the demand for our assistance. Every day SALUTE is receiving more and more requests for help. SALUTE continues to research additional resources for our veterans and expanded funding for our emergency financial assistance program.
