What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Patient Assistance Program
Our patient assistance program exists to help ease the financial strain created by a cancer diagnosis. A person may qualify for assistance if that person is actively seeking treatment for cancer and needs assistance with housing/rent payments, utility bills, health insurance premiums, or medical bills.
Colonoscopy Assistance Program
Sherry's Hope partners with local providers to assist those with concerning symptoms creating a need for a colonoscopy screening.
Colorectal Health Awareness Month
Each March, Sherry's Hope works to educate our community on colorectal health. Colon cancer is one of the most treatable cancers if found early. Sherry's Hope works with local gastroenterology practices to provide screening test kits free of charge to anyone.
Cancer Support Groups
Sherry's Hope offers a free cancer support group available to anyone in our community affected by cancer. It is open to cancer survivors, those in cancer treatments and their caregivers. It is not a requirement to be receiving financial assistance from Sherry's Hope to attend. Topics range from caregiver support, care options, helping children cope with a cancer diagnosis in their family, nutrition, and finances.
