RiseBoro Housing is a leader in affordable housing development and supportive community services. Working with a large network of partners and community members, our goal is to ensure the inclusive development of New York neighborhoods to lay the foundation for thriving communities. With a focus on economic, social and environmental sustainability, we develop new housing, preserve existing housing and provide a range of supportive services to ensure stability and success of our tenants. Our pioneering work with Passive House construction has changed the face of affordable housing development in New York and beyond.

RiseBoro Education offers youth and adults in north Brooklyn more than a place to go; it's a place where they can discover their true potential. For more than three decades, our Education & Youth Development programs have taken a holistic approach that provides youth and adults with the space, skills and support they need to succeed, no matter what their obstacles are. We believe that the individuals we work with every day are the key to building thriving communities for this generation and the next.

RiseBoro Health provides vital care for our seniors and community members at home and in our facilities. In 2001, we established the Buena Vida Health Care Center. Now home to more than 240 long-term and short-term residents, our dedicated bilingual staff provide continuing care and rehabilitation to our aging and disabled populations. Outside of the center, our staff visit homes, knock on doors and go beyond expectations every day to make sure community members get the care they need.

Faced with a long-standing issue of homelessness and unemployment in the community, RiseBoro Empowerment was established in 2009 to provide community members with resources they need to thrive. Our programs today span from homeless prevention, re-housing from shelter, legal services, veteran's services, adult education and job training and placement. Once we secure housing for individuals and families, our innovative programs offer ongoing skills building, tenants' rights and financial literacy trainings for residents. Our dedicated staff and inclusive approach equips every individual to be an agent of change in their life and their community.
