Our History - In 2006, community activist and businessman Rabbi Shulom Landau founded The Congregation of Our Layeshorim for full-time, advanced study of the Talmud and rabbinic literature. Originally operating out of a small local synagogue with only 27 students, the yeshiva has grown to serve upwards of 1000 students, many of whom have graduated to become successful rabbis, teachers, scholars, spiritual leaders, businessmen, and entrepreneurs. In 2016, after seeing so many students flourish in the yeshiva’s warm, student-focused atmosphere, Rabbi Landau saw the need for an advanced yeshivah program that caters specifically to young adults (ages 18+). At Yeshiva Gedola Amidei Dgirsa, students continue their studies in a more intimate setting with individualized instruction and a low student-faculty ratio, while also mastering the skills they needed to pursue fulfilling lives, relationships, and careers. Today, the Yeshiva has built a reputation as a diverse institution where student
