What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Warrior Sailing Program

Warrior Sailing changes lives as a nationwide training program for wounded, ill and injured veterans that boldly empowers participants to experience healing and strengthening through the sport of sailing. This program reconnects participants to the camaraderie and teamwork formerly found in the military through maritime education and skill development. Warrior Sailing increases the quality of life of their participants by imparting the skills, confidence and connections needed to better engage in the sport of sailing and the civilian world. As described by one participant, “Warrior Sailing is a hand up, not a hand out”.

Population(s) Served

Vessels donated to the program are used as maritime educational platforms with strategic partners. Once the vessel is sold then the assets go back into the foundation for more educational programming
