St Patricks Home for the Aged and Infirm

We provide 24 hour nursing care under the direction of a Medical Director, Primary Care Physicians, Director of Nursing, Licensed Nurses and Certified Geriatric Nursing Assistants. All care is provided on individual needs which are determined through an interdisciplinary assessment on each resident.

We provide care for residents with dementia and Alzheimer's disease. The program focuses on sensory stimulation, memory recall and motor skills. Staff members are in the room at all times to interact and stimulate each resident using music, dance, exercise, cognitive games, crafts, sports and food activities.

St. Patrick’s Home provides a Restorative Nursing Program customized for individual needs. The goal of Restorative Nursing is to achieve and maintain each resident's highest level of function. Restorative Nursing goals are designed to prevent decline, increase balance and muscle strength, prevent contractures and pressure ulcers.

This program is designed to promote independence and maximum function of each resident.

The Palliative Care Program at St. Patrick’s Home embraces the concept of treating each resident’s pain from the moment he/she is admitted. It assures an identified, coordinated, and comprehensive approach to providing care.

The Pastoral Care Department provides religious services to all residents, family members and staff regardless of their religious affiliations. Religious and spiritual services are offered for all residents regardless of their denomination to provide spiritual comfort and guidance in their daily lives.

The Carmelite Sisters and the staff provide support to the residents and their family members in times of loss including sickness and suffering. In following our mission, we strive to offer hope, healing and comfort.
