AMG INTERNATIONAL
Meeting the Deepest Needs
Programs and results
What we aim to solve
AMG International is a Gospel-first global ministry that meets people’s deepest needs – spiritual and physical – while inspiring hope, restoring lives, and transforming communities. For 82 years, we have leveraged the insights of local leaders, whom we refer to as "National Missionaries", called by the Lord to serve their people, in their own countries. AMG works alongside local churches in 40 countries, helping to identify the right strategies to meet the deepest needs. Our primary methods include child and youth development, healthcare, church planting/discipleship, disaster relief, and media evangelism. To address these deep needs, AMG and their field partners operate 117 schools/child development centers, scholarship programs, Christian camps, orphanages, hospitals/clinics, protection homes, pastoral training conferences, refugee centers, and many other programs.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
AMG's driving passion continues to be the dissemination of the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world. Through addressing the physical needs of hurting people, AMG ultimately looks to address the spiritual needs and help bridge a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Child & Youth Development:
Education and educational support - Providing a quality formal education through AMG schools as well as educational reinforcement in after-school centers. We are also working on educational reform in several countries. i.e. in Guatemala we have a program with the Ministry of Education that has already trained 40,000/140,000 teachers on educational improvement methods and values.
Disaster Relief:
AMG has responded across the globe to all different types of disasters as well as provided thousands with COVID food and medical relief.
Medical Care:
Access to affordable healthcare through hospitals, clinics, and nutrition programs around the World.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We seek to leverage our presence in communities in more than 40 countries, inspiring and equipping national missionaries to serve those in need through our child and youth development centers, education programs, hospitals and medical clinics, job skills development facilities, and churches.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
With well-equipped and experienced personnel and facilities in more than 35 countries, AMG continues a legacy of 820 years of experience in reaching those in need, forgotten or isolated with the message of Christ. AMG has a high capacity for achieving good outcomes while bringing hope to the World.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
The work of reaching those that have not heard the good news of Jesus Christ seems almost insurmountable. However, AMG holds a proud legacy of working with native believers to reach out to tens of thousands of people that would not have otherwise heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The work is far from done, but the loving partnership of our donors allows the work to continue.
Every year we graduate thousands of students from our schools, train thousands of national leaders, treat thousands of patients and lead many out of poverty.

- We disaggregate data to adjust programming goals to keep pace with changing needs of the communities we support.
- We employ non-traditional ways of gathering feedback on programs and trainings, which may include interviews, roundtables, and external reviews with/by community stakeholders.
- We have long-term strategic plans and measurable goals for creating a culture such that one’s race identity has no influence on how they fare within the organization.
- We seek individuals from various race backgrounds for board and executive director/CEO positions within our organization.
- We have community representation at the board level, either on the board itself or through a community advisory board.
