Arts Education for Children
Art Creates Opportunity. While developing as artists, children build life skills they take with them as they grown. Informed by research, we engage children in a five-step process of art-making: plan, create, produce, present and reflect. YANY integrates the creation of art with the development of critical life skills, including expanded social networks, increased self-efficacy and belief in a positive future. Drawing on 65 years of experience and extensive school and community partnerships, we give 45,000 children opportunities to experience and create arts each year.
