Amherst Early Music Festival, and Workshops

The Amherst Early Music Festival attracts over 300 students to the two-week-long summer workshop-festival for one- or two-week sessions, plus 60 to 70 students to each of its four weekend workshops. At the Festival there are 50 faculty members and 18 staff members. The weekend workshops employ a faculty of 10-12 faculty and have 2-3 administrators. Altogether, approximately 500 amateur and professional musicians each year participate in one or more Amherst Early Music events.
