What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
ENACT Programs
ENACT programs include student workshops, parent/family workshops, professional development, auditorium performances, and specialized crisis counseling.
Student Programs
ENACT student programs use a dynamic combination of creative drama and drama therapy techniques to promote self-awareness and build social-emotional skills within a classroom setting. Programs are led by highly trained teaching artists, drama therapists, and licensed social workers.
Programs from four days to throughout the school year are individually tailored for Grades Kindergarten to 12.
Parent and Family Workshops
ENACT teaching artists give families the tools they need to be full partners in the education of their children and to help them be responsible community members. Teaching artists help to recreate parent/child or parent/teacher conflict, enabling participants to recognize their own behavior patterns and become more open to change.
Professional Development
Professional staff development workshops help teachers and school administrators of all grades (K-12) integrate ENACT's innovative techniques into their classroom and teaching strategies. They also offer school staff the opportunity for personal reflection and sharing of skill sets with colleagues. Programs are custom-designed to provide hands-on instruction to school staff.
Auditorium Performances
Growing out of positive response to its in-class work, ENACT has developed auditorium performance pieces that allow ENACT to teach large groups of students how to make positive life choices. These performances honor the original ENACT method as they reflect true-life situations and are followed by a faciliated discussion.
