Mission

Our mission is to empower, safeguard and serve youth, ages 18-24, who are experiencing homelessness, disconnection and exploitation in the Greater Washington region with housing, education, wrap-around support services, workforce readiness training and job placement support to help them get back and stay on track. We envision a region where all youth experiencing homelessness are “at home” safe, secure and thriving.

Residential Services

Sanctuary- Low barrier 20 bed shelter that provides a safe space, showers, food and engagement.
Safe Haven- a 90 day interim housing program that provides youth with a transitional period from the streets in order to establish goals and pursue stable/permanent housing as well as improved financial stability.
SHINE- 90 day interim housing program exclusively for youth who identify as LGBTQ+
Rites of Passage (1,2,3)- 18-24 month program designed to provide an independent living setting with longer term housing such that youth develop necessary skills towards independence.
Prince George’s – TH-RRH- 18-24 month program designed to provide an independent living setting with longer term housing such that youth develop necessary skills towards independence
Prince George’s Hope House- 90 day residential program for youth in mental health crisis.
