What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
US Student Educational Programs
Tikvah begins its educational programming as early as the sixth grade because it believes in the power of ideas to inspire young people to both excellence in thought and service to the Jewish nation—and beyond. We offer multiple pathways of entry into the world of Tikvah ideas, through a carefully curated array of both in person and remote learning, in our Millstone (middle school students from public or secular private schools, in person regionally), Truman (middle school students from day schools, remotely nationwide), High School Fellowships (Begin and Solomon), Tikvah Online Academy, and residential Tikvah Scholars Program. While students can join our programs at any point in the continuum, our goal is to work with individual students over the entire duration of their middle and high school careers, with an eye towards their intellectual and developmental growth towards Jewish leadership.
The Lobel Center for Jewish Classical Education
The Lobel Center is a new initiative that was established to advance Tikvah’s vision for Jewish classical education. The Center has four primary objectives: Developing K-12 curricula, recruiting and training master teachers, partnering with Jewish schools, and exploring opportunities to launch new, Tikvah-aligned schools.
Tikvah Ideas
In essays, serious conversations, podcasts, and video courses Tikvah Ideas aims to develop and disseminate the most serious Jewish thinking on the major challenges facing the Jewish people and the enduring riches of Jewish, Zionist, and American civilization.
Tikvah Israel
Tikvah Fund Israel is a conservative educational organization that cultivates Israeli intellectual leadership and discourse. Tikvah aims to foster an Israeli society which is content, entrepreneurial, flourishing and free, and which reflects the idea of “Jewish exceptionalism” upon which Israel was founded. Tikvah Israel is the sister organization to the Tikvah Fund US. We support a range of programs, publications, and partner institutions that offer platforms for the study and promotion of conservative ideas in Israeli public discourse. Our projects foster new thought and discussion in areas including law, public policy and culture, academia, popular literature, and Haredi leadership. Our courses and publications bring to light philosophies and policies not otherwise discussed in Israel. In 2019, we were privileged to start the Israeli Conservatism Conference, an annual gathering of nearly 1,000 people coming together to craft a conservative agenda for Israeli public affairs.
