On its website, Idealist.org ("Idealist"), the Organization maintains the most popular English-language directory of nonprofit organizations and social enterprises on the web. Over 130,000 organizations have created profiles on Idealist where they post their services, jobs, internships, volunteer opportunities, and events.

We also offer numerous ways for people to connect with each other and to make improvements in their communities, and are able to post these opportunities on our website.

Currently, over 1 million individuals have created accounts on the site (with hundreds joining every day), and hundreds of thousands opt to receive free email alerts when new listings are posted that match their areas of interest and geographic location. All of these services are also available in Spanish and Portuguese.

Alongside the thousands of nonprofit jobs that are posted on Idealist, the Organization provides free online tools for career assessment and self-knowledge, including a career blog and a resource center.

In addition, the Organization helps prospective graduate students make informed decisions about whether to pursue a social impact degree and how to select a school that will best suit their needs. The Organization hosts an online Graduate Directory of social impact graduate programs, and hosts Graduate Degree Fairs in cities across the United States.
