Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Career Gear aims to achieve the following goals via our Professional Attire Program:

1. 80% of our participant's into employment within the first six-months
2. 75% open a checking or savings account within the first three-months
3. 50% will be able to afford food for self / family after six-months
4. 60% will be able to afford housing for self / family after six-months

Career Gear believes it is critical to provide on-going support for men to truly achieve self-sufficiency. For this reason, we offer high quality clothing and supplemental services to allow men to enter the workforce and achieve their goals successfully. This in turn leads to improved community harmony and success.

Career Gear has provided services to over 50,000 men-in-need since 1999. We have built extensive partnerships with corporate networks and volunteers that support our mission and enable the organization to accomplish its goals of helping low-income men become self-sufficient.

In 2017, Career Gear implemented a new online survey that can be administered both at our offices or accessed online by each participant. The data is collected on Survey Monkey and tied directly to our CRM, which allows Career Gear to measure outcomes in real time. This in turn enables the organization to continue to refine its service delivery and tie our outcomes to our long term goals.
