Mission

Texas Scottie Rescue Fund, Inc. was founded in 2002 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit group. Primary goal is to provide veterinary care for Special Needs Rescue Scotties in the care of our Texas Rescue affiliates: North Texas Scottie Rescue (NTSR), San Antonio Area Scottie & Westie Rescue (SAASWR), West Texas Scottie Rescue (WTSR) and Westie & Scottie Rescue Houston (WSRH). TSRF awards additional grants to these four groups, publicizes their Rescue dogs and activities and collects adoption applications for them. Education about the Scottish Terrier and responsible ownership and promotion of Scottish Terrier Rescue in Texas and nationally are important aims. TSRF does not handle Rescue Scotties itself, but raises funds for Scottie Rescue efforts in Texas.
